AdShark Marketing is seeking candidates for their digital creative designer internship position in Fargo, ND. AdShark is a fast-growing digital marketing agency that specializes in search and social marketing as well as numerous other digital services including web design, search engine optimization and e-commerce marketing.

Position Overview

The Digital Creative Designer Internship offers creatives a chance to work in the fast-paced environment of a digital ad agency while earning industry experience. Interns are responsible for assisting in a wide range of design projects. Interns are required to be team-oriented and open to being trained by AdShark’s creative professionals. An understanding of marketing principles and concepts is preferred in order to create ads that not only excel visually, but work effectively as a marketing piece. We seek creatives who are passionate about design and strive for excellence while also being resilient and capable of receiving all types of feedback from clients and teammates alike.

Internship Summary

Work with Creative Manager to create and fulfill various design tasks and projects.
Develop social media and search display ads for various clients in a wide variety of industries.
Create marketing-oriented ads and design concepts that achieve visual excellence.
Ideate and conceptualize innovative ideas for promoting client services or products.
Create and design print and digital materials for AdShark’s marketing purposes.
Ensure consistency of branding and creative across various platforms for both clients and AdShark.

Requirements

Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, or Marketing/Advertising major preferred.
Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, color theory and other graphic design fundamentals.
Experienced with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop with knowledge in various other digital programs.
Familiarity with designing social media ads, web graphics, and other digital designs.
Entry-level experience or higher in motion animation, photography and video editing is preferred.
Positive disposition and ability to collaborate with a team, as well as operate independently.
Strong creative and critical thinking skills.
Ability to fulfill between 15 - 30 hours per week (depending on availability).
Ability to work in-office at AdShark’s offices.

Internship Details

Internship length: 3 months with possible 3 month extension.
Compensation: $12.50/hour
Hours: Between 15 - 30 per week but flexible depending on availabilty and schedule.
In-office and on-site.
